A touch of winter luxe with Baukjen… The leather trousers edition

If you were to look into my wardrobe or even my Instagram feed it’s very apparent I love a dress. They are my fashion comfort blanket, my superhero outfit of choice, my go-to for a style pick me up. You can never go wrong with a dress.

Mixed within my collection of mini’s to midi’s are pretty blouses (feeding my new obsession with collars) lightweight knits and a multitude of Breton stripes to keep me in with the school mum crowd.

One item of clothing that is notably missing is trousers. Other than my early years at Kookai, when our uniform called for tailored wide-leg trousers with pointy boots, I’ve never needed an excuse to look so smart. Jeans have always been my go-to for my bottom half, with the occasional skirt thrown in when my legs allowed it.

Until now that is. Now I have a new obsession for leather trousers or in particular these Liv Skinny Leather pair from Baukjen. Beautifully soft, chic and grown up in equal measures there’s no denying that these are the next level in luxury dressing.

High waisted with an elasticated top finish they seamlessly smooth my Mum tum and elongate my legs. The beautiful burgundy tones add an instant winter refresh to my wardrobe and add an everyday sophistication to my collection of knitwear. They are not rigid in any way and keep their shape beautifully allowing multiple wears in one week, I did say I was obsessed.

Worn here with the the Margo Cable Cardigan which is next level 70’s for championing your inner Ali MacGraw in Love Story.  It’s iconic whilst being practical and a forever piece you will bring out season upon season.  Worn underneath to add some colour and texture is the Tilda Blouse, a ruffle cuff blouse in this winters must have check print.

I have now found my new back to work look after maternity leave, I’m officially ready for the next chapter in my life x

All clothing provided as part of an ongoing collaboration with Baukjen.  All lumps, bumps and thoughts my own.
