A dress to suit my mood

There is something deliciously simple about a dress, that whatever the day, it never lets you down.

It’s my most reliable of outfit choices and since returning to work from maternity leave, it’s become my daily uniform of choice, especially when time is against me.

A dress tells the world I’ve made an effort even if my top knot hasn’t been brushed through since the day before. It’s portrays maximum effort points whilst being effortless and come winter it only requires a pair of opaques to complete my look.

With the right dress I can escape the mundane of daily routines and transform into the me of past. It’s also about finding your perfect silhouette and for me it’s anything from a Aline mini, floaty midi or waist cinching maxi.

I recently had the opportunity to try the new Baukjen November Collection and one piece I instantly gravitated to was the Kiera Dress. It’s muted floral print, ruffle details and drawstring waist have all the makings of a bed to work outfit.

When a dress has been beautifully made and fits you to perfection, I can’t help but feel rather fabulous x
